Giana Byte 1.17

The game is inspired by The Great Giana Sisters, originally developed for the Commodore 64 by Time Warp Productions in 1987. While the levels are all new, the gameplay closely resembles the original.

The title of the game is derived from Giana 8-bit, signifying that 8 bits equal one byte.

The game features a total of 30 levels, culminating in a boss fight at the end. The Spider boss can only be defeated by shooting, requiring precise aim and quick reflexes.

Players have the ability to eliminate most of the game's monsters by jumping on their heads. However, caution is advised when encountering yellow worms, piranhas, yellow aliens, or bouncing red balls, as they are impervious to this attack strategy. Additionally, navigating quicksand requires swift movements as it disappears rapidly upon contact.
